Greetings all!

My name is Meike Janshon, and I will be taking the librarian's position after the break. Over break, I will be reorganizing and cataloging the stacks. If you have books to return, please do so before you leave for break.

Some of you may be excited to know that I will be working toward a multimedia approach with the library's resources. Print sources are not the only means of obtaining information, and I will be assisting students with using databases and other electronic sources, as well as video, audio, and other media.

Outside of my work with the library, I will be spending considerable time in the garage. I have an affinity for working with vehicles, so any other wrench monkeys who'd like to hang out, feel free to stop by. I'm also quite handy with household appliances, electronics, etc., so if you have issues with Gremlins, do call on me.

[private Staff]

I have some great ideas for project based learning. It's part internet scavenger hunt, part group collaboration, part real-world problem solving. Let me know if you're interested - I'd love to help you design a project for your class (or two or three - project based learning can make up an entire curriculum!).
